Law reform for conservation areas

A new law was created that seeks to build a legislative system for conservation areas. The aim was to strengthen the capacity for resource management in the area by establishing a system of collaboration between the indigenous community and the governing body. Various key stakeholders were involved in the drafting process, including government bodies and indigenous leaders, which enriched the representational aspect of the document.
